During Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, we come together and celebrate. For children in particular, receiving gifts makes these days extra special.
Sadly, not everyone can afford to give their children something special during Eid. Around the world, there are families living in poverty, widows and orphaned children. They are unable to meet their most basic needs and are struggling to survive.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the blessed month of Ramadan. This year, it is expected to be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025. However, the exact date depends on the sighting of the moon for Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic (Hijri) Calendar.
Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah, the twelfth and final month of the Islamic Calendar. This year, it is expected to begin on the evening of Friday, June 6, 2025.
