Help us support the Muslim community at the Garden City Mosque in Toowoomba, Queensland.

The community has experienced a series of serious setbacks in establishing itself. The Mosque has been targeted twice by arsonists. But they have been undaunted and have come together to grow and flourish. Toowoomba is a Refugee Welcome Zone, and the Mosque community has families from 13 different countries of origin. The existing community make new arrivals feel at home. The local university also has a substantial number of international students, and the Mosque assist them to settle in.

Between all these obstacles, the Mosque congregation has maintained its faith and continued to support those in need. This diverse community sticks together and looks out for each other.
