We had a very successful Ramadan Program this year. Our Islamic Relief International Ramadan Program was implemented in 31 countries, with a budget equalling AUD $42.5 million, where we distributed 300,932 food packs that benefitted 1.65 million individuals for the full 30 days.

With your compassion and charity we are able to mobilise emergency responses in times of crisis, delivering vital aid and saving lives.
During the last year we responded to the earthquake in Indonesia, the floods in Pakistan, the food shortages in Afghanistan, Somalia and Yemen, the terrible earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, and the ongoing suffering of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Through your support we are prepared to respond to whatever emergencies may arise in the coming months.
With your Zakat and Sadaqah we also support long-term development projects, including primary health care, nutrition and food security, water and sanitation, shelter and livelihoods. Examples include our primary health care clinics in Syria, Jordan and Afghanistan assisting over 44,000 people. Together we support food and nutrition in projects in Yemen feeding over 10,000 people, and in 1920 people in Somalia during the current famine.
Our water and sanitation projects are providing lifesaving support in Indonesia, Somalia, Lebanon and Bangladesh, helping over 22,000 people access clean drinking water and hygienic sanitation. We are supporting the provision of shelter for those impacted by the floods in Pakistan.
The wellbeing of orphans and other vulnerable children is close to your heart and ours. We are currently supporting 1400 orphans in 29 countries to access essentials like food, water, shelter, healthcare, and education, thanks to our Orphan Sponsorship Program.
Every donation is important, and we work hard to achieve maximum impact and value-for-money. We believe in full transparency and our financial statements are internally and externally audited annually, are published in our Annual Report and are on our website. We also submit them to the ACNC to be published on their website. We respect our donors and stakeholders and will regularly send you updates on our programs and the impact of your donation.
