Join Islamic Relief Australia this Ramadan in helping families in need break their fasts by donating iftar meals!
Ramadan is a time Allah (SWT) showers us with many blessings. It is also a month when all of us work hard to draw closer to Him. To seek His mercy and forgiveness and maximise our rewards.
One of the best ways to increase our imaan and multiply our reward in the blessed month is by providing iftar to someone less fortunate. This is a beautiful deed that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) practised (sunnah) and encouraged his ummah to perform.
SubhanAllah, this is an incredible example of the mercy and generosity of Allah (SWT). For us, giving iftar does not only mean another person can share in Ramadan’s blessings. It also doubles the reward of your own fast.
Alhamdulillah, many of us can sustain ourselves during Ramadan with nourishing suhoor (sahur, sehri) and iftar meals. But, around the world, those who cannot afford food remain hungry well beyond iftar time.
821 million people across the globe live in deep poverty and struggle to feed their families. Many do not know where their next meal is coming from.
In places of famine (like Yemen, Gaza, and Sudan), refugee camps (like Syrians in Türkiye and Lebanon), and impoverished communities, there are Muslims who urgently need our help to put food on the table for iftar and get the nourishment they need.
Through our meals, we’re able to provide vital support to families facing food insecurity during this time. Your generosity can help us continue to drive change and empower those who need it most.
Together, let’s make a difference this Ramadan with the power of kindness. Donate a meal now and help us provide sustenance to families in need.
