New year, new beginnings and a new look


If you’ve recently visited our website or social media, you might have noticed something different. Well, with the new year fresh, we thought it was the perfect time to change things up so we’re very excited to present to you our fresh website and our refreshed brand! Since starting out in Australia in 2010, our mission and vision to end suffering globally has powered everything we do – from providing life-saving aid during crises, developing lasting routes out of poverty through sustainable development, to tackling all kinds of injustice through our advocacy work. Now, with the launch of our new website and brand, we hope the way we communicate that message is even more effective and transparent.   

A little background on our new look and feel 

Countless hours and a lot of effort has been poured into our new branding and website, and we hope you enjoy a more enriching experience across all our platforms! If you’re curious about our new look and feel, we can tell you a lot of thought has gone into it. For us, it was important to pay homage not only to our Islamic roots but to our Australian context, so our new look is inspired by a combination of Indigenous art and Islamic geometric patterns. 

Our work is driven by the vulnerable people we support and the people who support us – you! And we’ve tried to capture this in our new messaging:  “At the end of suffering there is Islamic Relief. At the heart of our work, there is you.”   

Our life-changing work simply wouldn’t be possible without you, so thank you – from the bottom of our hearts! We hope you’re just as excited as we are about this new beginning for Islamic Relief Australia.
