Islamic Relief Australia partners with Point Cook Islamic Community, to help establish Point Cook’s first Mosque. A thriving hub that will provide a permanent place of worship, education, family and youth support, community welfare, and inclusive programs that benefit people of all backgrounds.
Point Cook Islamic Community Ltd. is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation serving the growing and diverse Muslim community of Point Cook.
The organisation was founded by Brother Aly and Dr. Zakir. It has since grown to be led by Br. Rafeek, Br. Anwar, Br. Adnan, Br. Waqas, Sheikh Sami, Br. Irfan, Br. Shariq, Br. Hasan, and other devoted brothers, this journey reflects a collective niyyah rooted in faith, humility, and service.
Driven by values of compassion, connection, and social cohesion, they aim to strengthen community wellbeing, support those in need, and foster a more inclusive and united society.

PCIC delivers a range of structured programs and pathways for community members in Point Cook. The organisation supports: educational development for children and youth, leadership and mentorship programs, community education initiatives, and moral and character development.

Our core educational programs support foundational learning, youth development, and follow an Islamic studies curriculum. They provide children’s education, Qur’anic literacy and comprehension, and character development modules
The programs are also designed to guide young people and families through mentorship and leadership training. This includes:
PCIC is working to build the first masjid in Point Cook. It will serve over 4,500 Muslims in the area and its surrounds. This will enable the long-term delivery of youth support, wellbeing, supervised recreation, civic participation, family engagement, and broader community development activities.
