In 2022, catastrophic floods sank one-third of the total area
of Pakistan. Tragically, over 1,700 people lost their lives in the disaster and a staggering 33 million people across the region
were impacted.
The devastation caused by the floods was unfathomable, as 2 million homes were destroyed, displacing 7.9 million vulnerable people. Today, the floods continue to have a devastating impact. Millions of people struggle to rebuild, and social vulnerability and poverty remain at an all-time high.

You’ve helped us build a staggering 6,420 permanent homes and 4,190 shelters for vulnerable families in the Balochistan and Sindh regions that have been impacted most by the devastation.
Each home is built with flood and earthquake-resilient measures in mind and meets practical and cultural requirements in terms of living space, a kitchen area and a bathroom. Help us continue to provide more shelters to those most in need in Pakistan.
