Established by Madania Foundation, OneSpace is an Islamic Youth and Community Centre. It provides facilities and services for those who struggle to find the time or space to gather with community and learn about Islam.
The hub is designed to be a comfortable and welcoming place for youth to hang out and socialise with other young Muslims. As well as participate in a variety of stimulating programs that allow them to have fun while staying close to the deen.
The centre is also built for families. It combines facilities for youth activities and family programs within a musalla (prayer space).
Our vision is to address the challenges migrant communities face in balancing their identity as Muslims with Australian values. While helping them uphold their Islamic principles, the variety of programs we offer includes sports and group projects.
We also provide social media activities such as podcasting. As well as classes on mental health and cooking classes. And classes dedicated to learning new skills to prepare youth for entering the workforce.
This is a hub where young people and the community can get together to explore their creativity. To collaborate with others and bring out their innovative ideas for a better Australian community.
We also support those in need, including members of refugee communities, the homeless, and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities. While also addressing the various social challenges faced by both the Muslim and broader Australian community
The Youth and Community Centre is located in the Springvale precinct, just off Princes Highway. It currently operates in rented building.
The Madania Foundation is actively fundraising to purchase the building, which will become the first Islamic youth and community centre in Springvale. Help us make this space a reality with your support!
